LMS Workshop: Bayesian Inverse Problems

There will be an LMS workshop on Bayesian inverse problems at the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Bayes Centre, in Edinburgh on 23 November 2018. The aim of this event is to bring together applied mathematicians and statisticians to discuss recent developments in Bayesian statistical theory, methodology, and algorithms for solving challenging inverse problems, with a special focus on high-dimensional and infinite dimensional settings. The goal is to promote collaboration and cross-fertilisation of ideas and techniques between these two communities. Information about the schedule, and speakers can be found at the website:

There will also be a poster session open for contributions from participants. The event is free, although we do ask that participants register for planning purposes. Please see the website for more information about registration.
