SIAM-IMA Cambridge Student Chapter: 2017 Annual Conference

The 3rd Annual Conference of the SIAM-IMA Cambridge Student Chapter will be held on May 3, 2017, at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge. The conference includes a broad range of topics in applied mathematics including machine learning, PDEs, soft matter, mathematical biology, as well as applied and computational analysis.

The conference will feature four great keynote speakers:

Prof Sir John Ball (University of Oxford)
Dr Melina Freitag (University of Bath)
Prof Zoubin Ghahramani (University of Cambridge)
Prof Beatrice Pelloni (Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh)

The organisers are also looking for 15-minute talks contributed by PhD students.

To participate in the conference registration is required, but there is no registration fee and *free lunch* will be provided, so don’t wait any further and sign up soon!

To apply to give a contributed talk at the annual conference, send an email with the title and the abstract of your talk to info@cambridgestudentchapter.co.uk by April 19, 2017.  Applicants will be notified by April 26, 2017 whether or not they have been selected.
