Wavelets and Beyond – A celebration for Alexandre Grossmann and Yves Meyer

Alexandre Grossmann and Yves Meyer have brought foundational contributions to wavelet theory and its applications. This conference will celebrate their research work on wavelets, and more broadly, the multiple facets of their interdisciplinary scientific interests: theoretical physics, harmonic analysis, signal and image processing, universe sciences, geophysics, mathematical biology. It will be a scientific and friendly tribute to the memory of Alexandre Grossmann, who passed away on February 12, 2019.

Speakers: Patrice Abry, Francoise Argoul, Richard Baraniuk, Eric Chassande-Mottin, Raphy Coifman, Ingrid Daubechies, Claudine Landes, Thierry Paul, Sylvie Roques, Jean-Luc Starck, Nicolas Thouveny, Martin Vetterli

A poster session is also being organised, deadline for abstract submission: May 31, 2019.

Registration is free yet mandatory on the website https://grossmann-meyer.sciencesconf.org
