Winter School: The Mathematics of Imaging

In the context of the IHP thematic trimester “Imaging in Paris”, we organize a winter pre-school dedicated to PhD students, Post-Docs and young researchers. This pre-school will take place at the CIRM (Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques), Marseille, the week January 7-11, 2019.

The pre-school will contain courses, practical sessions, flash presentations and poster sessions.
It will be structured around 4 main courses (3h + 3h):
Daniel Cremers (München), convex methods in imaging
Alexandre Gramfort (INRIA), machine learning for imaging in neuroscience
Marcelo Pereyra (Heriot-Watt): Bayesian methods in imaging
Clarice Poon (Cambridge): sparsity in imaging

The accommodation and meals of all participants is covered, but transport costs remain at their expense. The number of participants is limited to about 60 people and the registration should take place before October 15.
